Web Designer
RESPONSIBILITIES
> Create visually stunning and user-friendly website designs from concept to final product
> Develop and maintain design systems that ensure visual consistency and usability across projects
> Create site architecture and user flow diagrams (e.g. wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups)
> Collaborate with developers to ensure proper implementation of designs
> Optimize designs for cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
> Work closely with marketing and content teams to ensure alignment with brand strategy
> Ability and experience creating digital design assets that can be implemented across multiple channels (decks, social media graphics, one pagers, etc)
QUALIFICATIONS
> 3+ years of experience in web design, with a strong portfolio showcasing both visual design and UX work
> Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma)
> Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles, user-centered design, and web accessibility standards
> Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approaches
> Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
> Experience with both Wordpress and Webflow CMS
> Familiarity with user research methodologies and usability testing
> Excellent visual design skills with a strong sense of typography, color theory, and layout

$74,000 - $104,000
LOCATION
If based in NYC: Hybrid (3 days in office)
Non-NYC based: Full remote, travel to NYC 1x/Quarter
